Assistant Compliance Manager/ Compliance Manager

We are looking for a driven, passionate and good team player to join our global and dynamic compliance team. The candidate will integrate with the wider business to be involved in a huge variety of strategic projects.

A competent and capable mid or senior level of Compliance Officer is required for TNG (Asia) Limited to assist the company to carry out the e-Wallet business, and demonstrating the following in the course of discharging his/her duties:

• Perform routine compliance review and monitoring to ensure compliance with regulations, guidelines and internal policy.
• Review and clear suspicious transaction monitoring alerts.
• Conduct investigations on suspicious transactions and prepare written reports.
• Approve and review customer KYC and transaction information.
• Perform compliance checks, controls and monitoring on AML and sanctions.
• Review/conduct onboarding and ongoing AML/KYC due diligence on counterparties and service providers, and conduct firm-wide risk assessment.
• Account Servicing experience required (CDD, EDD, KYC, GR, A/C closure and refund etc)
• Handle ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in financial crime and regulatory compliance gained in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with experience in a similar fintech industry, and experience with SVF licensees is preferred.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law or related.
• Excellent attention to details, self-motivated, attentive to details, independent with high integrity.
• Detailed mindset and result oriented.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pragmatic but critical approach, strong analytical and problem-solving mentality.
• Have leadership skill, and ready to grow and coach junior team member(s).
• Proficient in PC skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good commands of English and Chinese, including written and spoken.
