Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor/ Professor
Civil Engineering Department
Requirements
- Faculty in Project Management/ Hydraulics and Hydrology/ Advanced Technologies in Civil Engineering discipline:
- Doctoral degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field;
- Professional membership of the relevant discipline is preferred but not a must;
- Demonstrated research/ practical expertise in:
Project management/Hydraulics, hydrology and water engineering/
Application of innovative technologies to Civil Engineering, such as AI and machine learning for predictive analytics, optimization and decision support, Robotics and automation in construction and infrastructure management, etc
- Preference would be given to the ones with expertise/ teaching experience in one of the following areas:
- Traffic Engineering
- Building Services Engineering
Key Responsibilities
1. Undertake teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
2. Undertake duties in course/ programme/ curriculum review and development
3. Conduct research that leads to publications in top-tier refereed journals
4. Engage in high-level consultancy, and other scholarly activities
5. Perform academic and administrative duties
6. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department or his delegate
