STUDENT AFFAIRS OFFICE

Executive Assistant (Ref: 241115010-IE)

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) provide administrative, clerical and operational support to the Office;

(b) assist in the planning and execution of events;

(c) assist in the conduct of surveys and compilation of statistics;

(d) provide counter service and answer enquiries;

(e) create and manage content for web pages and Instagram posts;

(f) support administrative tasks and any ad hoc duties as assigned; and

(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of Students or his/her delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a) have a recognised degree, preferably with some relevant work experience;

(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese / Cantonese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua;

(c) have proficiency in computer software applications including Microsoft Office and Chinese Word Processing;

(d) have good interpersonal and communication and skills; and

(e) be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Preference will be given to those with relevant work experience in tertiary education institutions or public sector.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
