Media Asia Group Holdings Limited (“Media Asia” or the “Company”) together with its subsidiaries (the “Group”) is one of the leading Chinese language entertainment group with well-established business in Mainland China.  The principal activities of Media Asia include production and distribution of films and TV programs; organisation, management and production of concerts and live performances; artiste management; music production and publishing; licensing of media contents; and provision of consultancy services in planning and management of cultural, entertainment and live performance projects.  Apart from its Hong Kong headquarters, the Group also maintains offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei and Seoul.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation of monthly financial reporting, annual budgeting and forecasting
• Perform monthly financial analysis to monitor financial performance of the business unit against budget planning and identify the reasons of variation for management to support business decisions
• Involve operation and cost management of various projects
• Manage office equipment and facilities including leasing agreements
• Understand the financial positioning on the pattern of cost, expenditure and revenue, give recommendation to prevent potential issues (if any)
• Prepare cash flow forecast
• Lead and supervise a team of accounting staff for the daily bookkeeping of financial records, including review of vouchers and payments
• Guide and compile consolidation of business division’s financial results for Group consolidation on quarterly basis
• Liaise with external auditors for annual audit and tax filing
• Liaise and maintain good relationship with the representatives of shareholders of the business unit
• Assist in ad hoc assignment from management

 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and with CPA qualification
• At least 10 years of relevant finance or accounting experiences, preferably in Media & Entertainment Industry
• Strong in budgeting & forecasting and financial modelling skills
• Well-organized, detail oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong experience in business partnering and stakeholder management
• Able to meet tight deadlines, responsible, and self-motivated
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
