Position / Job Title: Administration Assistant - Inspectorate
Job Grade: (to be confirmed)
Business Unit: Inspectorate
Department: Inspectorate

Job Purpose*

The position will be responsible for the administrative support in animal cruelty investigation and prosecution, as well as educational or promotional events or initiatives on animal welfare matters.

Roles & Responsibilities*

  • Assist in conducting investigation of animal cruelty cases and processing of prosecutions.
  • Assist in communications with governmental departments, especially liaising with officers of Government Law Enforcement Agencies in all matters concerning animal cruelty investigation and prosecution.
  • Assist in preparing and checking documents for applications to court.
  • Assist in handling work processes in relation to the cases.
  • Handle assigned administrative tasks of the Department, including but not limited to any educational or promotional events.

Qualification*

  • Secondary education or above, a holder of bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Fluency in Cantonese and spoken English.

Requirements*

  • Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Cantonese is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in liaising with governmental departments or legal parties is preferred.
  • Genuine interest in the welfare of all animals
