Administrative Officer, Office of the Faculty of Social Sciences (Post Ref.: 24/436)

Responsibilities

• Render support to the BSocSc (Hons) Programme and the Faculty’s postgraduate programmes
• Lead promotion initiatives, social media marketing, and updates of the Office’s website and brochures
• Assist in organizing Faculty events, school visits, and coordinate student internships
• Provide administrative and clerical support to the Office as assigned

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Good knowledge of MS office applications and IT skills (experience with CMS website maintenance and graphic design will be an advantage)
• Positive work attitude and a great sense of responsibility
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Attentiveness to details and the ability to multi-task
• Previous working experience in the higher education sector is a distinct advantage

Salary and Benefits
Commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.

Reappointment thereafter is subject to the appointee’s satisfactory performance and funding availability.
