Art Director

What awaits you …

• Work closely with Creative Director, Account Servicing and Project Team in the preparation of business proposals, tender documents and presentations
• Review work of designers and provide clear direction and guideline and identify work progress improvement
• Meet and maintain work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards to ensure the creative output is world-class and continuously exceptional
• Present and brainstorm ideas and concepts with Creative Team and manage the development through several stages of concept and execution
• Obtain client approval by presenting final layouts, storyboards, and illustrations; and respond to client commentary and requests
• Select and secure illustrative materials by formulating basic layout design concepts and conducting research and oversee the visual aspects/elements of projects and campaigns
• Review project production factors by studying and managing budget, background information, objectives, presentation approaches, styles, and techniques

What you should bring with you …

• Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication or related industry
• Min 5 years’ relevant experience as Art Director or Creative Director in an agency environment
• Proven work knowledge in leading large scale local and regional event and exhibition projects and multiple campaigns
• Strong knowledge of typography, image manipulation, illustration and animation’
• Experience in motion design would be a bonus
• Solid branding experience in delivering high-end concepts and creation direction under the pressure within a fast-paced agency environment
• Excellent project management skills, with demonstrable ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and set budgets
• Good leadership skills and be able to lead and manage team of designers
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese
