We mainly conduct our R&D activities in our HKSTP office. Part of the R&D activities include research into identifying materials or solution requirements, development activities to create new product, process, and software, building prototypes, product design, solution integration and testing. Part of the technology including Automation and Robotics, Wayfinding and Navigation, Smart Hospital and also Smart Gerontech.

Job responsibilities

• As a R&D member, participate in the development of vending machine projects, using artificial intelligence and machine vision technology to improve the intelligence level of the equipment.

• Design and implement 2D/3D image processing algorithms for object recognition (various commodities) and quality inspection.

• Develop a 3D machine vision system to guide the robot arm for precise grabbing and placement.

• Apply 3D machine vision measurement technology to obtain the volume and posture of goods to ensure the accuracy of product placement.

• Collect and organize visual data generated by vending machines during operation, including product images, recognition results, operation records, etc., and establish a complete data management system. Through the analysis of data, potential problems and improvement directions are discovered, and targeted solutions are proposed.

• System integration and testing: Work closely with the hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of the machine vision system and vending machine hardware, and conduct system testing and debugging.

• Technological innovation: Track industry trends, explore new technologies, and provide technical support for continuous product upgrades and innovation.

Qualifications

Education background: Bachelor degree or above in computer science, electronic engineering, automation or related majors.

Work experience: At least 2 years of work experience in artificial intelligence, machine vision or related fields. Applicants with successful project cases will be given priority.

Skill requirements: Proficient in programming languages ​​such as Python and C. Proficient in machine vision and deep learning frameworks such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, Halcon or VisionPro. Have an in-depth understanding of machine vision in measurement, positioning, object recognition, defect detection, etc.

Teamwork: Have good teamwork spirit and be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-department teams.
