Assistant Accountant

Responsibilities

• Handling full set of accounts
• Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including recording, reviewing, and reconciling invoices, purchase orders, and payments
• Responsible for annual audit and tax filing
• Work with internal colleagues and vendors to ensure all documents are in order for payment processing, queries, and issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Responsible for bank reconciliation, fixed assets register, accruals, and on-time month-end closing
• Provide accurate and timely reporting and analysis of account data
• Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of finance and accounting experience in a retail/fast-paced company
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Accountant
• Immediate availability is advantageous
