Responsibilities
 

  • To handle all investment related accounting issues and prepare investment reports (including the preparation of investment accounting journals and the Investment Register update).
  • Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register; calculating the monthly depreciation charge and preparing the recurring journal.
  • Preparation of the simplified profits tax computation on monthly basis.
  • Assisting in the year end audit as required, for example: Preparing the year end audit schedule and profits tax computation.
  • Monitor the billing arrangements for members and ensure that postings are in line with the membership agreement.
  • Responsible for issuing statements and process members’ payments on a timely basis as well as follow up the allocation in the receivable ledgers.
  • Any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements
 

  • Minimum 5 years’ working experience in the Finance Department of sizeable organization in Hospitality Industry, preferably in hotels and/or private clubs.
  • A university graduate with a recognized degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines is desired.
  • Recognized Membership of professional Accounting Bodies is preferable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and familiar with SUN accounting system.
