Duties
Reporting to the Director, Student Affairs Office, Provost and the President supervising a compact team, the Associate Director, Student Affairs Office, is responsible for the following:
- In line with the vision and mission and stage of development of the Institutions, formulate and ascertain directions and strategies for development of student affairs in the Institutions.
- In line with the administrative and management policies of the Institutions, ensure optimal use of resources for delivery of student services with effective organisational structure, operation and management systems.
- Build up a student campus life culture for achieving the goal of provision of a total education for students.
- Build up and train a team of staff to have adequate knowledge and competent skills in carrying out duties related to student affairs in the Institutions.
- Perform other duties as determined by the Director, Student Affairs Office, Provost and the President.
Appointment Criteria
- Postgraduate degree with at least 3 years' relevant experience.
- Sound knowledge of role of student affairs in higher education in Hong Kong and abroad.
- Proven organisational and management skills and formal and informal leadership qualities.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
