Assistant Design Manager

• Fashion Retail Industry
• Working Location: Lai Chi Kok
• 5 days work, AL, Medical, flexible working hour

Role Purpose:

You will be responsible for designing products in your category, working closely with the design lead, design manager and designers to execute the seasonal concept vision. Sketching CADS, sourcing fabrics and trims, maintaining daily communication with buyers/sourcing/fit technicians and delivering new and fresh products to stores.

Job Responsibilities:

Deliver Seasonal Fashion Ideas and Elevate Core 

• Understand 68 customer & offer her newness in products
• Ideate and expand on key design ideas and details based on concept theme and story per month
• Able to take clear design direction and research trends, fabrics and trims according to seasonal direction
• Monitor weekly sales & be proactive in adjusting collection 
• Drive team to meet deadlines and present ideas at key design meetings

Developing Range with Designers

• Responsible for driving design to product development according to TNA 
• Follow up on the whole design process: from concept, presentation of sketches, tech packs, fitting session to samples comments (from proto to pre-production stage)
• Focus on elevating and updating our star products
• Design and create products with a good, better best strategy in mind
• Create and update design overviews every month/ season
• Less experience will be considered Senior Designer

Requirements:

• Good eye for color, texture & shape
• Must have bra construction knowledge
• Experience in bra pad developments
• Strong CAD Drawing Skills
• Strong computer presentation skills (ie. create mood boards, design decks)
• Strong communication and Good organizational skills
• Team player and a positive attitude
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop 

Education level

•  Associate BA in fashion Design 

Experience

• With at least 4+ years experience in Bra design

Skills required

• Entrepreneurial spirit, capability of cross team communication & synergy
• With Fast fashion experience will be perfected
• Language ability
• Fluent in English
• Cantonese & Mandarin
