Duties

Reporting to the Director of Administration, the appointee will have the following major responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Director of Administration in overseeing the provision of administrative support in different areas relating to the College’s overall administration as well as overseeing the daily operations of the College General Office;
  2. Coordinate the AACSB and EQUIS accreditation reviews and provide high-level advice and expertise in other accreditation-related matters;
  3. Serve as the main liaison to our accreditation agencies (AACSB and EFMD offices) and coordinator for the overall College-wide accreditation effort;
  4. Administer the quality assurance, department academic advisor, program review processes, in support of the College’s core mission and education goals;
  5. Provide secretarial support to the Business College Board and the College International Advisory Board;
  6. Act as the deputy to the Director of Administration during her absence and work closely with the Administration and Development Team on all projects;
  7. Assist in annual budget exercise and other financial matters;
  8. Assist the Dean and Director of Administration in the implementation of strategic plans and other development initiatives to further the mission of the College; and
  9. Perform any other duties as assigned.

The appointee may be required to work irregular hours and travel to mainland China and overseas countries.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree plus relevant professional/postgraduate qualification with at least 12 years of post-qualification experience in local and non-local student recruitment within the higher education sector;
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  3. Strong knowledge of social media management and web platforms, proficiency in digital and event marketing;
  4. Demonstrated ability in team management and leadership;
  5. Experience in managing budgets and staff;
  6. Being self-motivated, resourceful and dynamic to respond proactively to a rapidly changing environment with a positive and flexible attitude; and
  7. Knowledge and exposure to business education in the global market and Mainland China would be an advantage.
  8. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong track record in quality student recruitment.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
