Location: Sheung Wan

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Provide executive, administrative and secretarial support in handling daily operations and meetings of the Education Division as well as maintaining communication with personal secretaries of the Board members for meeting arrangements to ensure smooth operation and compliance with the prevailing regulations;
  • conduct survey and analysis on various data to provide necessary information to facilitate decision-making by supervisors;
  • provide executive support to the implementation of special or ad-hoc projects to facilitate educational service expansion and development of the Group;
  • handle and reply enquiries or educational related matters from schools or the public in professional and timely manner;
  • act as the key contact person to liaise with schools in all matters relating to staff welfare activities;
  • provide executive and secretarial support to the Head of Education Division when necessary; and
  • perform other duties assigned by Head of Education Division.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • A recognized degree or equivalent;
  • at least Grade D in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;
  • preferably 4 years of post-qualification experience and sound knowledge about office management;
  • preferably experience in procurement, preparing budget as well as organizing ceremonies and event;
  • proficiency in general office skills including general applications of Microsoft Office, writing reports and memos in Chinese and English; and
  • preferably basic knowledge in book-keeping.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience.  The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.  Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.   The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
