Assistant Finance Manager

Report to the Senior Finance Manager, this position will play a key role in handling full set of accounts, support Finance operations on daily basis as well as assisting Senior Finance Manager to oversee the Finance Department.
What you do:
Full Set of Accounts
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closing including general ledger preparation, accounts payable and reconciliations
- Ensure all accounting transactions are recorded in accounting system completely and properly as well as in timely manner
- Monitor Balance Sheet Schedule
- Handle bank transactions and banking related issues
- Maintain cash flow management to ensure sufficient liquidation
- Perform accounts analysis
Leases Management
- Manage Lease accounting issues, ensure leases are recorded and maintained properly as well as compliance with accounting standards and requirements
CAPEX Investment
- Ensure CAPEX is recorded completely and properly
- Maintain fixed assets register
Budget and Forecast
- Support the preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts
Annual Finance Statutory Exercises
- Participate in internal audit exercise
- Support annual audit, annual tax computation and filings
- Participate in shops annual stock take to ensure its completeness and complied with accounting standards and regulations
Perform any other ad-hoc assignments
Who you are:
- Degree holder or above in Accounting or related disciplines (Qualified Accountant is preferable)
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience in finance operations; prior experience in retail industry is preferable (candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Accountant)
- Experience in handle full set of accounts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word and accounting system (Oracle is highly preferred)
- Detail-oriented, strong problem solving skills and good team player
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
