Assistant Marketing Manager(Ref. 240826001-IE)

Duties

The appointee will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the Unit’s marketing strategy, image/brand building, alumni liaison, promotional activities and public relations.  He/She will be required to:

(a) plan and organise promotion/marketing activities and regular events, such as public lectures and congregation;

(b) develop plans on image/brand building for the Unit;

(c) plan and produce both online and printed promotional and marketing materials, including brochures, video, posters, etc., in both English and Chinese;

(d) provide support to the Head of Unit in enhancing external relations and international ranking;

(e) liaise with alumni and external stakeholders of the Unit;

(f) provide secretarial support to committees and working groups related to marketing and communications; and

(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a) have a recognised degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline;

(b) have at least five years of solid relevant experience;

(c) have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;

(d) have good communication, liaison and organisational skills;

(e) be mature, conscientious, detail-oriented and be able to work independently and under pressure; and

(f) be a good team player.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
