Assistant Merchandising Manager/Senior Merchandiser

Job Responsibilities
 

• Work closely with design team to achieve sourcing and production requirements; includes coordination of activities in sample development, costing package coordination, preliminary screening, and order tracking
• Monitor order tracking activities to meet quantity, quality, and product specifications and delivery requirements;
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors and factories to ensure the production schedule and product quality
• Source new potential suppliers and factories to support the delivery of our business strategy
• Perform other duties as required

Job Requirements:
 

• Higher Diploma or above in Merchandising, Clothing / Textile or related discipline
• At least 5 years relevant experience in retail merchandising is a must, preferably in ladies woven and sweater products
• Self-motivated, energetic and responsible
• Organized and detail-minded, quality conscious, independent yet a good team player
• Strong sourcing, negotiation and problem solving skills
• Proficiency in PC skills, including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Good command of written and spoken Putonghua and English
• Occasionally travel to factories
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant Merchandising Manager
