The University is seeking a high-caliber individual to provide secretarial and administrative support to the Office of the Vice-President for Development. The appointee will be responsible for providing services in the following areas:
- Secretarial support including scheduling meetings, appointments, travelling arrangement and answering phone enquiries;
- Office administration including processing online staff expenses reimbursement and e- procurement, ordering stationaries and office supplies, and managing efficient filing system for the office; and
- Any other duties as needs arise.
Applicants should have at least Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSE or 5 passes in HKCEE including Chinese Language and English Language (min. Grade C if Syllabus A or Level 2 if results were obtained from 2007 onwards) with substantial post-qualification work experience. Fresh graduates with a bachelor’s degree will also be considered. The ideal candidate should be a well-organized person with good communication skills, service-oriented, attentive to details, able to multi-task in different works and self-motivated. They should possess a proactive personality, a strong sense of responsibility, and a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Proficiency in computer software applications including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Chinese Word Processing is also required. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
