We are looking for the following experienced professional who is capable of carrying out supervision and co-ordination work for the project of “Batch 1B, 1C Development of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park”:

Assistant Resident Engineer (Ref. JD_23058ARE)
The minimum qualifications required for the post of Assistant Resident Engineer shall be as follows:

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in civil / structural engineering with 3 years’ relevant post qualification experience (under formal training pre-approved by appropriate professional institution/ institute)
• Completion of Top-up Course for TCP T3 on GIFW and Building Works with Significant Geotechnical Content, provided by HKIE Geotechnical Division, for those having focus experience in structural engineering design and practice
• Registration with the Construction Industry Council Technical Competent Person registration scheme, for details, please refer to the https://www.cic.hk/eng/main/registration_services/tcprs/
   

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out site supervision duties as a TCP T3 under RSE’s stream and/or RGE’s stream according to Code of Practice for Site Supervision 2009 (2021 Edition).
• Completion of the Electronic TCP form filing system during the course of TCP duties.
• Ensure that the Structural Engineering Works are carried out in accordance with the statutory approval drawings, statutory requirements, design assumptions, specifications, contract requirements, and good engineering practice. 
• Assist the Senior Resident Engineer / Resident Engineer in the contract administration with respect to Structural / Geotechnical Engineering Works.
• Monitor the performance and work progress of contractors and sub-contractors by preparation of site daily and produce site record including regular photo taking and filing.
• Assist in the review of Contractor’s design (including temporary and alternative permanent works), site planning, shop drawing, material sample, test results or method statement submissions and other relevant submissions for the project.
• Assist in answering the technical queries from the contractor and supplying information to contractor for construction.
• Carry out any other duties as may be assigned from the time to time by the SRE / RE appropriate for the proper completion of the Project.
   

Employment will be on a contract basis for a period of 24 months commencing from end of March 2025 tentatively with possible extension subject to works condition. The remuneration package will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualification and experience.
