The role :
We are seeking an energetic, target focused and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic sales team as an Assistant Sales Manager
As an Assistant Sales Manager, your focus is performance. You take action to hit the sales target for the company. You support each rep in ensuring they contribute their part consistently.
What you’ll be doing?
- Ensure each Sales Rep is on target each and everyday, provide coaching, other support or corrective action as needed
- Support Sales Reps as needed to troubleshoot sales problems encountered by reps, clients or other company departments
- Ensure all calls are of great quality and in line with company’s standards by monitoring Sales Reps call recordings
- Provide deal specific pricing and commercial direction to Sales Reps where appropriate
- Assist the Sales Manager in formulating sales strategies and goals and ensure that the team's work aligns with the company's objectives
- Collaborate effectively with other departments such as marketing, operation, and customer service as needed
- Monitor sales performance and report regularly to the Sales Manager and director
- Ad-hoc project or tasks as required
What are we looking for?
- 5 years of sold sales experience in B2C e-commerce/Telesales/ logistics industry, with at least 1 year in managerial role
- Excellent sales skills and negotiation abilities, keen commercial sense
- Effective sales coaching capability and experience
- Able to effectively manage time and resources and work under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in using sales and CRM tools
- With a “Can-do” attitude and willing to accept new challenges
