Buyer (Fashion/Luxury Goods)

Responsibilities

1. Actively and Daily source fashion products and present them to the online shop platform
2. Analyze market trends and competitors move to source trendy items and forecast upcoming product demands
3. Manage assigned categories to drive sales and meet margin target
4. Source and select new and exclusive products to meet customers' needs
5. Negotiate with global and local vendors
6. Set seasonal OTB budget, formulate assortment and allocation plans, conduct inventory analysis and management, and set prices for productS
7. Monitor sales with stock level, product efficiency, merchandise distribution, replenishment & consolidation on a timely basis
8. Handle merchandising-related issues to ensure timely orders and deliveries
9. Collaborate with marketing and operation department and participate in major corporate sales, promotion events, visual merchandising, and other projects
10. Attend buying trip and market visits for potential market opportunities
11. Prepare sales reports for management review
12. To assist other ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

1. Diploma or above
2. 3+ years work experience on buying for fashion retail category
3. Experience in e-commerce and Parallel Import Industry is a MUST
4. Solid experience in driving implementation of new product, service or operating of e-commerce / online business development
5. Good connection with vendors in luxury brands
6. Good knowledge of luxury brands and parallel imports
7. Able to drive projects independently and under pressure
8. Excellent command of both written & spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin
