Role Purpose:
Our Logistics Data Analyst will master various logistics data, providing insights on container load planning, cost management, routing/network optimization, and volume utilization. This role also involves managing logistics invoices and statements, as well as handling inter-company and insurance claims.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Data analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret logistics data to identify trends, optimize processes, and support decision-making
- Participate in freight analysis and logistics budget setting
- Assist in preparing reports in collaboration with the Controlling & Accounting departments
Invoice and Statement Management:
- Process and reconcile invoices not covered by our system
- Follow-up with logistics providers credit/debit notes and statements of accounts to ensure accurate and timely payments
- Ensure the system is updated with accurate quotes from logistics providers
Operations:
- Handle internal and insurance claims with our logistics providers, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies
- Act as an internal advisor for the Claims and cargo protection to merchandisers, sourcing, customers
- Assist with day-to-day logistics operations on special shipments
- Provide timely system updates (shipments, master data, etc.) when needed

Experience, knowledge and skills required:
- Degree holder in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent disciplines
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in a MNC Trading company, and/or 3PL / Carriers
- Sound knowledge and experience in handling international shipping documents and invoices
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) applications
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese is an advantage
