Editor / Senior Editor / Managing Editor - Primary Science

Responsibilities:

• Develop content and carry out editorial work, including edit, write and proofread content, for print and digital products and ensure the highest quality of work is achieved
• Prepare briefs for design, photos and artworks
• Liaise with authors, freelancers, artists, designers and other relevant parties to ensure timely production of assigned titles
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and portfolio teams in market research, promotion and sales activities
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• University degree in related disciplines, preferably in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Primary Education
• Excellent command of both English and Chinese
• Good organizational, time management and communication skills
• Ability to take on responsibility and work independently
• Strong interest for a career in education and a keen eye for details
• Experience in textbook editing is an advantage
• Knowledge in coding and STEAM education is an advantage
• Good knowledge in IT and digital publishing is an advantage
• Candidates with more experience will be considered for the post of Project / Senior Editor
