ICT Engineer

Job Description

• To act as a project engineer for IOT infrastructure installation project(s)
• To perform and support management of site work, including T&C, in the project(s)
• To provide technical customer service for the user of the project(s)
• To support and liaison the research and development of IOT equipment used in the aforementioned project(s)
• To develop specifications of the equipment and systems and manage the development of the relevant hardware and software, in particular for ones related to communication and data analytics technologies
• To attend meetings for coordination among partners in Hong Kong and mainland China
• The candidate shall report to the Head of the company

Academic and Qualification Requirements

• High Diploma or above in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or other relevant degrees
• Permission to work in Hong Kong

Experience/ Hobby Requirements

• At least two years of working experience with IoT devices or ICT systems. Less experienced candidates will be considered as Assistant ICT Engineer.
• Excel in written English and Chinese
• Excel in spoken English and Cantonese /Putonghua
• Knowledge/ Experience in software development
• Hobby with electronics, robotics and other STEM education aspects is an added advantage

Other Requirements

• Willing to work under tight project schedule and under stress
• Willing to travel to the mainland China
• Willing to self-learn
• Need to work outside office hour for software maintenance
• Good team player
• Have positive characters on developing profession and career in applications of new technologies
