Job Description 
Reporting to the IT Manager, the candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and support school IT equipment, application management, systems administration and health checks.
 

  • Support and assist with various PC, Mac, Laptop and projects including OS/software upgrades, patch administration, Microsoft platform, campus networks, and event operations.
  • Provide IT support, service desk, and troubleshooting for end-users, and be responsible for resolving issues through calls, emails, and onsite support.
  • Carry out ad-hoc tasks to support school operations when necessary.
  • Provide support for school events, open days, and weekend support from time to time.
  • Perform monitoring and management of endpoints, servers, and appliances.
  • Perform scheduled tasks, including capacity planning, performance checks, and backup validation.
  • Support various group wide hardware and software projects while providing strategic input for the development and delivery of technology solutions.
  • Work across multi-campuses
  • Responsible for planning and tracking IT software and hardware assets, managing warranties, and performing audits on IT security and policies.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by your Line Manager or members of the school’s leadership team

Job Requirement
 

  • Higher Diploma or Degree holder in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Microsoft MCSE/MCIPT
  • Cisco CCNA
  • Minimum 3 years IT experiences in an MNC
  • Strong experience of Microsoft and Mac desktop/ laptop platform
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, reports and presentations.
  • Familiar with the deployment and maintenance of hardware and software using MDM/management platforms.
  • Familiar with Microsoft platform such as Windows Server, MS SQL, Domain Controller, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Office 365, Azure AD
  • Knowledge in TCP/IP Networking, VPN, Firewall and VOIP
  • ITIL qualified professional
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese Mandarin
  • Attention to details, self-motivated, proactive, deadline achievement, and ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures.
  • Excellent analytical skills – with the passion and drive to demonstrate and quantify success.
  • Results orientated with the ability to consistently map efforts against identified KPIs.
  • Wxcellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks.
