IT EXECUTIVE

JOB SUMMARY

Chellaram Shipping is seeking an IT Professional to be part of the IT team of the organization headquartered in Hong Kong.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
• Experience: 3+ years in desktop support, helpdesk, or IT support roles with exposure to Office 365.
• Preferred - Microsoft Office/Azure certifications and experience / knowledge of AI usage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

For the Head and branch office and the fleet of vessels:

• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and update operating systems, drivers, and software applications.
• Provide remote and onsite support for end-users to resolve technical problems promptly.
• Manage inventory and lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement and disposal.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN)
• Basic Understanding of Firewall management.
• Provide user support for various software in use in the organization
• Provide backup support for IT executive based in Hong Kong
• Visit to the company vessels in India and Overseas as required.

Office 365 Support:

• Administer and manage Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other services.
• Provide end-user support for Office 365 tools, including email configuration, data backups, and sharing permissions.
• Assist with user account setup, licensing, and access control within the Office 365 Admin Center.
• Basic Understanding of Active Directory & Azure AD.
• Provide basic training to users to enhance adoption and effective use of Office 365 tools.
