IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are currently looking for a high caliber candidate to fill the following position.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of IT network infrastructure and computer operating environment.
• Develop and implement IT infrastructure policies, procedures and practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and speedy resolution of networking, operating software and hardware problems with all internal and external parties including vendors, factories and IT service providers.
• Establishes and implements solution to safeguard systems from threats or risks
• Develop security configurations for networking, operating systems and applications.
• Handle procurement processes related to IT network, such as vendor evaluation, contract negotiation and sourcing
• Liaise with the infrastructure service providers and monitor project status to ensure on-time and on-target delivery.
• Provide effective response on daily IT help desk services and troubleshooting to the end-users.
• Take ownership of incident resolution, analyse services call, determine the best solutions and implement quality IT services according to company standard operating procedures.
• Provides responsive and effective support on data analysis as necessary.
• Maintain accurate inventory record for IT hardware and operating software.

Requirements:

• University graduate in MIS/IT or related disciplines
• At least 5 years of in-depth experience in network infrastructure setup and operations support.
• Expertise in Microsoft 365 (M365) Exchange and Active Directory, along with strong networking knowledge. This role focuses on maintaining, supporting, and optimizing our organization's Exchange/AD environment and network infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication and network stability.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 Online environments, including email administration and security configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to M365 services such as Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Manage and maintain the Active Directory environment, including user account creation and group management.
• Strong knowledge about VMware & Nutanix
• In-depth experience in Firewall management (FortiGate/Cisco/SonicWALL) & Cisco Router/Switch/AP/Controller.
• Proven experience about various backup software Veritas/Veeam backup & others
• Proficiency in managing cloud platforms Barracuda email security & cloud to cloud infrastructure
• Work with the Office of Information Security to monitor threats, alerts, and security vulnerabilities for installed systems; implement response plans for various types of threats and attacks
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues across the organization's sites & websites.
• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and security of the network through policy implementation.
• Implement and manage security policies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Experience in the WAN/LAN operating environment of Microsoft based servers.
• Experience working in the regional office of MNC, sourcing industry is preferred.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive with effective time management skills, self-motivated and well-organized.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin preferred.
