Junior Business Analyst - Insurance experience preferred

The ideal candidate will be consulting in the areas of business analysis, project management, and gaining experience in Insurance and Consulting industries.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, evaluate solutions, and develop recommendations to achieve business goals specific to the insurance industry.

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, analyze data, and develop recommendations to achieve business goals specific to the insurance industry

• Develop project plans and track progress to ensure timely delivery of projects

• Conduct research and evaluate solutions to address business needs within the insurance industry

• Facilitate communication between business and technology teams to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and properly executed

• Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff

• Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements, user stories, and project plans

• Good to have Operations work experience

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Insurance or a related field

• 1+ years of experience in business analysis and project delivery within the insurance industry.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and vendor

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum)

• Experience with project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Trello)

• Familiarity with SQL and data analysis is highly preferred.
