Lead/ Senior Consultant, Infrastructure

Job Duties

• Oversee the setup, administration, and ongoing support of IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
• Ensure all services are delivered in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and within agreed timelines
• Diagnose and resolve complex system and network issues, including hardware and software faults, to minimize downtime and maintain service continuity
• Support the implementation and rollout of IT projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business objectives
• Maintain and update operational procedures, server documentation, and IT asset inventories to ensure compliance and facilitate efficient operations
• Provide timely support for ad-hoc requests and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support as required
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance infrastructure efficiency, security, and scalability

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, including server administration, SAN, Windows and Linux environments, Hyper-V, VMware, and Veeam solutions.
• Solid background in managing routers and switches, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize network performance
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Linux scripting for automation and system maintenance tasks
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under pressure and tight deadlines
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving infrastructure challenges
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with technical teams and conveying complex information to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with virtualization technologies is an advantage
• Relevant certifications (such as MCSE, CCNA or VMware) are preferred.
