Legal Manager in the Legal Counsel Office [Ref. R/036/25]

Duties

Due to team expansion, we are now looking for a junior lawyer or legal executive to join our Legal Counsel Office. The appointee will provide support to Legal Counsels in all aspects of legal matters (such as reviewing and drafting contracts and other legal documents, conducting research, drafting advice, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, translation work and other documentary support), assist with budgeting and outside lawyers bill administration, and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

An L.L.B. (Bachelor of Laws) degree (preferably a qualified lawyer in Hong Kong) with at least 2 years’ in-house or law firm experience; or a Bachelor’s degree in other disciplines with at least 7 years’ working experience in legal field. Experience in any combination of commercial practice, civil litigation, intellectual property, employment, conveyancing or PRC related matters; good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good analytical and research skills; being organised and self-motivated, with ability to work independently and as part of a team as well as willingness to learn and work hard.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
