Marketing Executive

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Middlesex University as a Marketing Executive (International Student recruitment) based in Hong Kong and South China. You will play a key role in driving the international student recruitment strategy and executing marketing campaigns to attract international students to our London campus. 

What you'll be doing

• Implement approved marketing plans, manage budgets, monitor target spending, and adjust strategies in real-time to optimize campaign performance.
• Manage digital channels, including the website, social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube), and online ads to effectively reach the target audience.
• Design marketing collateral using graphic design software to create brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials, and ensure that all promotional materials meet standards and align with brand guidelines
• Analyze and report the performance of marketing campaigns against ROI metrics, identify areas for improvement, implement optimization strategies, and present consolidated market insights to senior management.
• Plan, organize, and participate in promotional events such as fairs and marketing initiatives.
• Travel to South China is necessary.
• Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
• Handle student admissions and related administrative responsibilities
   

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in graphic design, marketing, or a related field
• 2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the education sector
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Creativity and a flair for developing engaging content and campaigns
• Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and channels, including social media platforms
