Mechanical Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide expert knowledge in thermodynamics and other mechanical engineering fields to support relevant research work
• Design equipment and respective parts and components based on the requirements of project team
• Prepare 3D CAD drawings for the equipment and respective parts using 3D CAD software
• Evaluate designs of equipment to ensure ease of maintenance and lower risk of failures.
• Assist in manufacturing and construction of the prototype based on the design for the system
• Development, integration, testing and documentation of hardware designs as part of a team
• Supports integration with software modules as part of a team
• Participate in the review and design of systems as part of a team in compliance with the users’ needs and requirements, good practices, and feedbacks from QA members

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor in mechanical engineering or relevant discipline
• Knowledge in thermal dynamics is a must
• 2-3 years experience in the engineering field is preferable
• Practical experience in mechanical and product design is preferable
• Familiarity with 3D CAD design software is preferable
• Familiarity with prototype manufacturing is preferable
• Good organisation ability with good written and verbal communication skills
• Observe good practices in parts and assembly design and technical documents
• Capable talent with less experience will also be considered
