Operations Manager (Supermarket and Food Court Division)

Responsibilities

• Oversee the whole operation of supermarket and food court.
• Manage day-to-day operations and make sure the company is running in a smooth manner.
• Product planning, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements.
• Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency.
• Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store.
• Monitor and supervise the staff performance to ensure quality of goods and services are provided.
• Lead and motivate the team to achieve business targets in terms of profitability, service standards, and business development.
• Assist in setting up new operations and formulating operations plan to ensure successful opening within the required timeline and budget.
• Liaise and collaborate with internal departments to evaluate business performance and ensure action plans roll-out effectively.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks/projects as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree holder in business studies.
• 5-8 years or above of working experience in supermarket and food court operation and at least 4 years at managerial level.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Must have knowledge and experience of cost control, sourcing and inventory management.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Japanese speaking is preferred
• Proficiency in MS office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Exposure of Supermarket and food court is an advantage.
• Immediate available is highly preferred.
