We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences:

Part-time Lecturer (2025 Spring Term) (PG) (A&SS) (Ref: 24002QP)

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointees will mainly be responsible for the course planning, development and delivery of the postgraduate programme. Major duties include conducting lectures and tutorials, writing lecture notes, designing and marking of assignments/examination scripts and performing other related teaching and administrative duties.

Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence for the relevant course(s) are specified as follows:

  • CHIN 2007ACF/CHIN A206CF 實用生活粵語

申請者須持有碩士或以上學位,主修中國語言及文學、語言學或相關科目。具教學經驗者可獲優先考慮。

Master of Arts in Chinese Literature

  • CHIN 8108ACF/CHIN A808CF 作家選講

Applicants should possess a higher degree in Chinese Language and Literature or a relevant discipline, and should demonstrate teaching /professional experience. Preference will be given to PhD holders with relevant teaching experience at tertiary level. Candidates are expected to be proficient in both Cantonese and Putonghua.

Applicants should possess a higher degree in Chinese Language and Literature or a relevant discipline, and should demonstrate teaching /professional experience. Master of Social Sciences

  • PSYC 8003AEF Psychology for Decision-Making

Applicants should possess a higher degree, preferably an earned doctorate, in Psychology or related discipline.. Relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level would be an advantage.

Duration of Appointment

The appointees will be required to work on weekday evenings or Saturday/Sunday on campus for the period from January 2025 to June 2025 for a maximum of 17 hours per week.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
