Part-time Research Assistant

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree or above in Psychology, Nursing, Social Work or a health-related discipline; (ii) at least three years of relevant work experience;  (iii) the ability to work independently; (iv) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); (v) good computer knowledge in SPSS, Qualtrics, and Google Classroom; and (vi) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation. Candidates with good practical skills in psychotherapies or counselling psychology are preferred. Experience in conducting and co-ordinating research studies, qualitative and quantitative research will be an advantage.

The appointee will be assigned to support research projects regarding an online intervention for community adults with symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He/She will be responsible for (a) providing assistance in administrative and logistics support for research projects; (b) assisting in subject recruitment; (c) assisting in data collection, management, and analysis; (d) performing literature search and review; (e) preparing project report and manuscript; and (f) performing other tasks as assigned.
