The School now seeks a high calibre candidate for the position of Project Co-ordinator II, Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Team of the Office of MBA Programmes. Reporting to the Administrative Director of the Office of MBA Programmes (Office) and the Team Head of the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Team (CSE), the appointee will focus on implementing tasks in the areas of communications and event administration of the CSE.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) developing and executing effective internal and external communication strategies to build communication platforms and initiatives that enhance our MBA brand equity and consistency, involving cultivating strong commitment and engagement from our internal and external stakeholders; (b) co-creating engaging, informative, and up-to-date content for online and offline publication channels, such as articles, blog posts, social media updates, programme leaflets, and the website, to positively benefit the MBA Brand and accurately reflect the offerings of the MBA programmes; (c) managing and developing media relations and engagement, as well as supporting institutional research projects, such as international rankings, with international media and intellectual organizations; (d) establishing effective communication platforms to facilitate communication between staff and students, and ensuring the accuracy of information; (e) supporting and implementing external and internal stakeholder engagement events, alumni schemes, and outreach activities organised by CSE to build strong engagement and support from the stakeholders of the MBA Programmes; (f) collaborating with colleagues from the Student Development and Engagement Team to deliver initiatives, events and activities related to leadership development, personal and career development, global immersion and industry immersion learning experience for the MBA students; (g) managing Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), social media advertising, third-party promotion platforms, and liaising with media agencies; and (h) performing other impromptu duties as assigned by the Administrative Director. Working at flexible hours and weekends, and occasional business travelling will be required.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university; (ii) at least 3 years’ relevant work experience related to marketing and communications, preferably with experience in an agency; (iii) effective listening and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain a positive rapport with a diverse group of high-performing students to support their learning journey; (iv) strong interpersonal skills to interact and cultivate enduring relationships with the faculty, colleagues, students, alumni, and senior business leaders; (v) demonstrated expertise in team planning, multitasking, and providing support to lead and collaborate with dynamic teams; (vi) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and (vii) a strong sense of responsibility and a service-oriented mindset, with a commitment to working independently at flexible hours and weekends. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
