Faculty of Medicine
The appointee will work under the Education and Academic Affairs Team of the Faculty and Planning Office, Faculty of Medicine and will work at the CUHK Shatin campus. He/ She will be responsible for (a) providing general administrative support to the team in a wide range of faculty and academic-related matters, including professional courses and postgraduate programmes; (b) maintaining accurate records and documentation for the education programmes offered by Schools/Departments in the Faculty; (c) liaising with other stakeholders in the administrative units and departments at the University and Faculty levels; and
(d) performing other impromptu duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a recognised Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 1 year’s post-qualification work experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector;
(iii) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) strong interpersonal, communication and organising skills; (v) the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently to meet tight deadlines; and (vi) attentiveness to details, a strong sense of self-motivation and responsibility, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
