Working Locations:
Hong Kong Island, Kwun Tong and Islands Districts

Job Responsibilities:

  • Overall management a Project on Health Support for families of ethnic minorities in Hong Kong Island, Islands and Kwun Tong districts;
  • Plan, implement, monitor and evaluate the Project operation;
  • Prepare service statistics and reports;
  • Connect and liaise with local schools, kindergartens, social and medical services organizations;
  • Render outreaching services, organize programs and groups for children, parents and families on health promotion and management;
  • Collaborate with nurse-led team of CUHK on intake health assessment and health promotion;
  • Shift duty on Saturdays and nights.

Job Requirements:
  • Registered Social Worker;
  • Degree or above in social work or equivalent;
  • Have Level 2 / Grade E or above in English Language and Chinese Language in HKDSE/HKCEE or equivalent;
  • With l year of experience in management and supervisory role;
  • Direct service experience in working with ethnic minorities and relevant experiences in family service, casework setting and outreaching settings will be an advantage;
  • Fluency in English and Chinese;
  • Able to speak a minority language such as Urdu, Hindi or Nepal will be an advantage;
  • Enthusiastic for working with ethnic minority families, self-motivated and able to work independently.

Remuneration is based on the Master Pay Scale of Common Posts in NGOs and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
