Project Manager (Building) / Engineer (Civil) / Assistant Engineer (Civil)

The Opportunity

At Sun Sing Engineering and Construction Limited Co.', we are seeking highly motivated and experienced professionals to join our dynamic team as a Project Manager (Building), Engineer (Civil), or Assistant Engineer (Civil). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our company and play a key role in the delivery of high-quality construction projects in Tseung Kwan O area and Hong Kong Island.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the overall project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Oversee the design and construction of civil and structural engineering components, including foundations, structures, and infrastructure
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Manage and supervise a team of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, providing guidance and support as needed
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, and implement effective solutions to ensure project success
• Continuously monitor and report on project progress, and provide regular updates to management

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years (PM) and 2 years (AE) of relevant experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing building or infrastructure projects
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of civil and structural engineering principles, methods, and standards
• Proficient in the use of engineering software and tools, such as CAD, project management, and scheduling software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Thorough understanding of local regulations, building codes, and safety requirements
