The Roles:
- Work closely with Programme Director and Senior Manager in the programme development for Fashion Asia;
- Plan, organize, execute and accountable for the end-to-end successful delivery for Fashion Asia events, including but not limited to a series of conferences, workshops, exhibitions, networking events and outreach/concurrent programmes will be involved;
- Monitor the work progress and undertake effective project management, including event operations, guests invitation and management, budgetary control, timely reporting, assessment of outcomes and impact of the related activities;
- Work closely with various vendors and liaise with internal and external parties across public and private sectors, including designers, sponsors, supporting organizations, business partners, etc, and always be on top of project status and progress;
- Generate monthly/quarterly reports and presentations on ongoing or completed initiatives, providing valuable insights and lessons learned that can inform future decision-making for the steering committee and executive leadership;
- Liaise with programme speakers, designers, partners, sponsors, consultants, internal teams and agencies to ensure the delivery of high-quality programmes;
- On site management for installation and logistics supervision and/or inspection, perform quality check when required; Manage the team to execute and distribute top-quality events;
- Hospitality arrangement and coordination for speakers, designers and other VIP guests; Lead the team in ensuring the speakers and designers' attendance at all agreed-upon events and activities;
- Develop sponsorship strategies and packages to attract sponsors and partners;
- Any other ad-hoc and supporting duties as requested.
Requirements:
- University degree or above;
- Minimum 8 years post-graduation work experience with at least 3 years in marketing and event management experience in fashion or luxury industry;
- Excellent verbal and written skills in both English & Chinese (including Mandarin);
- Strong editing and project management skills with experience in digital marketing and social media is an advantage;
- Strong problem-solving skills and able to meet tight deadline;
- Excellent communicator with strong level of attention to detail and ability to ensure consistently high quality delivery of projects and initiatives;
- Good sensibility to fashion design, business development and trends is preferred;
- Hunger to learn from others and pick up new tasks and skills along the way; ability to absorb feedback and make it actionable.
