Registered Safety Officer

This position is suitable for a highly motivated individual, who has the aspiration to develop long term career in a prosperous industry.  

Duties :

• Maintain close communication with different teams on HSE matters, e.g., policy implementation, HSE programmes, HSE assessment, etc.
• Carry out site inspections and audits verifying the compliance status in relation to HSE programmes and procedures 
• Assist in undertaking training needs analysis and the development of HSE training programmes
• Communicate and liaise with external parties such as Labour Department, Environmental Protection Department and other stake holders on HSE issues
• Assist in HSE rules enforcement and other legal compliance issues 
• Assist in HSE incident investigation, compiling report and working out mitigation plans 
• Prepare regular reports on HSE matters and performance
• Proactively manage the health & safety of employees to continuously improve the health & safety performance in the company
• Undertake other related duties as assigned by the superior

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline preferred
• Registered Safety Officer 
• Certificate in HSE Management
• At least 2-3 years of related working experience
• Good communication skills with patience to deal with issues at the plant
• Actively respond to HSE issues arising from the day-to-day operations 
• Possession of a positive and proactive attitude with team spirit
• Good command of both English and Chinese
