Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Safety team to perform on-site safety activities, training, inspection and audit
• Develop, implement and review safety management system to ensure company compliance with legal and contractual requirements
• Monitor on all safety issues, provide insight and give recommendations for enhancing overall safety performance
• Work closely with subcontractors to conduct safety monitoring 
• Coordinate with relevant parties to investigate incidents and provide remedial measures
• Prepare statutory submissions, relevant documents and contractual reports
• Ad hoc duties assigned 

Requirements 

• Bachelor Degree in Occupational Safety and Health Management or equivalent;   
• Proven Safety professional in construction industry
• Registered Safety Officer is a must
• Registered Safety Auditor is preferable
• In-depth knowledge of OSH legislation & standards
• Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and leadership skills
• Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
