Work you'll do

• Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on CBDC frameworks, implementation strategies, and market trends. Analyze the impact of CBDCs on monetary policy, financial stability, and payment systems.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with central banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies to discuss CBDC initiatives. Facilitate workshops and presentations to educate stakeholders about the benefits and challenges of CBDCs.
• Design and Development: Contribute to the design of CBDC systems, including account-based or token-based models. Work with technology teams to ensure the integration of secure and efficient digital currency solutions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all CBDC initiatives comply with existing financial regulations and standards, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
• Public Communication: Develop communication strategies to inform the public about the features, benefits, and usability of CBDCs. Address concerns regarding privacy, security, and accessibility.
• Project Management: Lead projects related to the development and implementation of CBDC pilot programs. Monitor progress, manage resources, and report on outcomes.

We are looking for someone with

• Educational Background: A degree in finance, economics, computer science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in blockchain technology or digital finance are advantageous.
• Experience: Proven experience in financial services, particularly in roles related to digital currencies or payment systems. Familiarity with blockchain technology is essential.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software. Understanding of distributed ledger technology (DLT) and cryptocurrency frameworks is preferred.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial regulations affecting digital currencies at both national and international levels
