Join the Core Team at SPRG

Strategic Public Relations Group (SPRG), the largest PR consultancy in Hong Kong and one of the largest integrated PR networks in APAC, is seeking talent to join the in-house PR team, the Core Team.  As a member of the Core Team, you will be coordinating SPRG's regional new business, devising communication strategies, and enhancing the Group's industry profile as well as providing strategic counselling to clients.

Responsibilities:

In-house role:

• Coordinate new business development: Collaborate with our 20 offices and 88 global partners to drive new business opportunities, expanding our regional reach and influence.
• Devise communication strategies: Implement comprehensive communication strategies across various channels that align with the Group's goals and those of our member companies.
• Raise our profile: Elevate SPRG's industry profile globally and locally.
• Manage compelling marketing and communications materials: Participate in producing the Group's marketing materials, including the yearbook, media releases, social media posts, and podcasts.
• Shape our 30th anniversary celebrations: Work with regional offices to plan and execute the 30th anniversary celebration in 2025.
• Champion CSR initiatives: Drive/Support the planning and execution of our CSR campaigns through our own registered NGO - the Strategic CSR Network, making a positive difference in the community.
• Take on exciting ad hoc tasks: Contribute your expertise to various projects and initiatives as assigned.

Client servicing:

• Provide strategic counselling: Devise strategic communications programmes to public institutions, statutory bodies, corporates and non-profit organisation.  Delivering timely and appropriate messages to target stakeholders, providing advice on effective communication strategies and analysing risks and opportunities that can inspire positive public perception and enhance the image of our clients.
• Drive impactful PR campaigns: Formulate and execute high-impact PR campaigns for our pro bono clients, ranging from institutions to associations and NGOs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or Communications or related disciplines
• Two to three years of experience in PR or corporate marketing communications
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.  Proficiency in Mandarin is a MUST
• Experience in social media is preferable
• Well organised, have an attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
• Self-motivated, enjoy working in a team, and have excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and dynamic presentation skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in computer software, i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
• Travelling may be required
