Senior Merchandising Manager

Responsibilities:

• Provide managerial leadership to merchandising team and oversee China and Hong Kong markets
• Manage all the planning activities including assortment, allocation and distribution
• Plan for seasonal buying and OTB amount to maximize sales and GP
• Monitor weekly sales results to suggest the merchandise action / promotion strategy needed to maximize the sell-thru of the seasons
• Work closely with crossfunctional teams retail operations / logistics team / stores to provide the merchandising plan to support the sales
• Define product strategy to meet defined growth and profit targets
• Apply effective strategies to ensure optimal store stock control
• Maintain a timely and accuracy material replenishment for ensure a proper level of stock
• Coordinate with factory and other departments to ensure the product and collections can be delivery on time
• Collaborate with sales team to recommend best-in-class sourcing strategies and innovative programs for short-term and long-term sourcing development
• Shop visits and regular market visits to China are required

Requirement:

• University graduate, minimum of 10 years’ experience in retail merchandising field
• Strong fashion sense and be able to command of market needs and trends
• Strong in planning/ organizational/ interpersonal/ communication skills
• Sensitive to figure with strong problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office, especially in MS Excel
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
