Senior Retail IT Specialist

We are looking for a high IT caliber with rich Retail industry experience to lead the role of the Retail IT Service Desk for Hong Kong and Macau market. The new team member will have the responsibility to lead the daily store IT support service and ensure all incidents are recorded and resolved in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to IT Manager, the talent is expecting to:

• Lead Retail IT Service desk for Hong Kong and Macau market
• Manage Retail IT support tickets by identifying root cause, trends and performance analysis
• Provide day-to-day system support of Retail stores related technologies (Point-of-Sale, In-Store Inventory Management, Store-to-Store Transfers, Traffic Counters, Store Infrastructure, Smart Devices)
• Continuously review Retail IT support model to meet changing organizational needs
• Work closely with external vendors to complete Retail IT related procurements and product & service deliveries
• Work with Network teams to resolve or improve store network related issues
• Work with global IT teams to support/deploy Windows security updates, and business applications testing, staging, roll-out and hyper care
• Collaborate closely with Retail Operation to understand new business needs, evaluate options, then propose process improvements and propose solutions
• Store visits as needed
   

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of Retail store systems information technology experience with solid understanding on store operation and business process, less experience will be considered as IT Specialist
• Solid hands-on experience in both Retail POS infrastructure and application support in POS development lifecycle
• Hands on experience in POS application interfaces, such as ERP, BI, Footfall, Payment, etc.
• Hands on experience working with POS peripherals, barcode scanners, cash drawers, EFT device and OPOS configurations
• Hands on experience in coordinating IT services for store opening, closing, renovation, and relocation
• Technical support experience in Windows and O365
• Working knowledge of mobility support with IOS and WeChat
• Experience with IT security, e-commerce and omni-channel, Project management is a plus
• University Degree in information technology, computer science or related discipline
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with teamwork mindset
• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
