The system Test team is part of the Database Server Technologies division. It is responsible for performing multi-tier stress, destructive, and performance tests using various testing tools, to emulate real-world enterprise DB usage scenarios. These simulations are conducted in a lab environment consisting of tens/hundreds of servers, to mimic end-to-end high-stress scenarios, involving large and complex DB configurations.

As a member of the team, we will give you proper training, so you get the chance to explore the latest Oracle DB features and technologies. You will gain first-hand experience in a few very large/complex DB configurations, both for on-premises and Oracle Cloud service. You will be responsible for designing cases and writing shell or Python codes and to automate the tests. Responsibilities

Autonomous Database

• Develop and maintain database applications in cloud environments (Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS, Azure SQL)
• Basic understanding of cloud services and REST APIs
• Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries and scripts for cloud databases
• Automate tasks using any of the scripting languages like Python, Shell, Perl
• Monitor and optimize cloud database performance and resources
• Collaborate with teams to design and implement cloud database solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Willingness to learn new technologies and improve skill sets
