Solution Architect

The Solution Architecture is accountable for working with Mobile Solutions Architects, System Analysts, Technical Leads & Engineers to define the detailed solution design based on user requirements.

What you’ll be performing:

• Design professional, long-lasting, innovative, and secure solutions that utilize the latest technologies to improve efficiencies and qualities.
• Communicate with our clients to understand their business goal, user stories, and execution plans.
• Raise non-functional requirements comprehensively that cater to the concerns of security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability of a product.
• Analyze all non-functional requirements and ensure that further product engineering will meet the country compliance, project constraints, and security standards.
• Provide professional consultation to our business team with feasible and cost- effective technical solutions from rough business ideas.
• Visualize the solution by using different types of diagrams and able to explain the design from a high-level overview to deep-down details.
• Explore, learn, and carry out the upcoming cloud-native and on-premises(hybrid cloud) solutions on AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, etc.
• Provide knowledge, insights, directions, and guidelines to colleagues that are less experienced.

We are looking for you if you are:

• Minimum 6 years professional experience with Software Engineering related fields.
• Knowledge in modern technologies stack’s benefits and drawbacks including efficient communication protocol, application frameworks, databases, message queues.
• Knowledge of enterprise standards including logging, monitoring, access limitation, sensitive data handling.
• Experience in planning disaster recovery, high availability, multi-AZ solutions.
• Experience in designing AWS microservice architecture, Service-oriented architecture, and traditional Monolithic architecture.
• Experience in working horizontally scalable infrastructure.
• Experience in making hard tradeoffs between important goals and complete with a realistic and sustainable solution.
• Able to discover, apply and establish best practices.
• Passion for self-improvement, a healthy appetite for learning, and a willingness to mentor.
• Proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Would be great if you are:

• Having Solution Architect certifications by AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
• Having Internet security-related certifications.
• Experience in enterprise solutions such as datadog, Splunk, AppDynamic, etc.
• Experience in managing Kubernetes cluster or OpenShift.
