We are currently looking to recruit a Sourcing Manager - Seasonal, Card & Party.
Job Description:
- Manager a team of Assistant Manager, Senior Sourcing Specialist and/or Sourcing Specialists and/or Junior Sourcing Specialists and/or Sourcing Assistants.
- Control that the sourcing strategy is executed by his/her team.
- Monitoring Key Financial indicators for his/her category.
- Source vendors and develop products according to the objectives and requirements from the buying team.
- Identify best in class suppliers in the region in line with Company's policy to offer best value to the business.
- Monitor day to day operation including supplier management, product development, quote sheets, sample verification & order follow up.
- Payment terms negotiation, supplier set up, on time shipment & Critical Path controlling.
- Communicate daily with buyers and vendors to ensure programs are delivered as per schedule.
- Coordinate the sourcing activities with QA, Supply Chain and packaging team.
- Evaluate vendor performance and update the vendor matrix. Propose necessary adjustments to the Senior Sourcing Managers/Sourcing Manager when relevant.
- Responsible to look after Seasonal decor, decorative lightings, artificial trees in different seasonal events e.g. Easter, Memorial Day, Harvest, Halloween, Christmas.
Education and Experience Required:
- Degree holder highly preferred.
- 8 to 12 years of experience in related product categories.
- Knowledge of U.S. retail industry/sourcing industry.
- Experience in U.S. Sourcing/Buying office would be preferred. Familiar with sourcing landscape in China, Southeast Asia, and India.
- Familiar with regulatory requirements for U.S. market.
- Familiar with supply chain optimization process.

- Familiar with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Proficient knowledge of Excel PIVOT table and VLOOKUP functions.
- Ability to learn company systems and tools.
Languages:
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin to be able to communicate with counterparts located in Hong Kong, China or USA.
