Sr. Subletting Officer / Sr. Quantity Surveyor

Tai Cheung Properties Limited and Wang Yip Construction Co. Ltd. are subsidiaries of Tai Cheung Group (Stock: 0088), which is a listed property developer. The Group has been engaged in property development and investment in Hong Kong over 50 years. We are currently looking for a high-caliber candidate to fill the position.

Reporting to Head of Contracts, the incumbent’s key responsibilities are to:

• Handle estimating with budgeting, tendering, project schedules with negotiations and post contract activities
• Handle tendering, budget control, project schedule and contracts negotiation independently
• Prepare bill of quantities and take measurement, payment application and assessment, maintaining a proper filing system
• Issue and track Purchase Orders / Contracts, Drawings, Specifications & Production, QA&QC of goods/services/products and Deliveries
• Manage contractor’s payment, variation orders, claims and final account
• Implement cost control procedures and monitor project expenditure
• Source product and service, seek quotation, negotiate price and contractual terms, evaluate bids and make award recommendations

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma/ Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline; certificate holder should have more than 20 years of work experience
• Minimum 10 years' work experience from Main Contractors in HK for new built projects with fitting out works
• Familiar with market conditions, subcontract for building construction, pricing in material costs and subletting works
• Excellent scheduling, analytical and negotiation skills, well co-ordination with Parties/Trades
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Independent, well-organized, detailed-minded, result-oriented and willing to work under pressure
• Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese typing
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Quantity Surveyor / Subletting Officer
